Our Story
HarborKey started with a simple problem: marinas are unique facilities with real security needs, and most access control systems weren't designed with them in mind.
We built HarborKey to give marina operators the kind of control and visibility they actually need — without requiring a full IT team to run it. Powered by UniFi's enterprise-grade door access hardware and hosted entirely in the cloud, HarborKey is reliable, scalable, and genuinely easy to use.
Today, HarborKey is live at Schoonmaker Point Marina in Sausalito, CA, managing 22 doors, more than 1,400 tenants, and thousands of credentials in a real production environment. Every feature we build is tested against the demands of an actual working marina.
We believe marina security should be modern, affordable, and accessible to every operator — from a 50-slip community marina to a large multi-location operation.
